đ Why It's Huge
ThriftCon is a national phenomenon for a reason. With thousands of attendees, collectors, and fashion lovers flooding into Denver from all over the country, it's not just about the shopping; it's about the community and the culture.
Whether youâre a reseller, a fashion-forward creative, or just love scoring a vintage band tee for a steal, ThriftCon is the place to be. But hereâs the thing: one day isnât enough. If youâre coming into Denver, youâll want to make the most of your trip⌠and that means heading to the city's vintage capital (aka South Broadway!).
Â
đ Welcome to South Broadway: Denverâs Vintage Epicenter
When it comes to secondhand gold, South Broadway is the undisputed throne of vintage shopping in the Mile High City. Just 10 minutes from downtown Denver, itâs where locals go when theyâre ready to dig for denim, find a retro gem, or complete their fit with something truly unique.
Your first stop has to be Mountain Standard Goods, known for its top-tier vintage, handmade goods, and carefully curated selection of timeless fashion finds. Then continue your treasure hunt at staples like LaLovely Vintage, Boss Vintage, Goldmine Vintage, and Femme Fatale; each with its own distinct flavor of fashion. For festival wear, weird and wonderful pieces, and one-of-a-kind scores, donât miss Crossroads Trading Co., The Ten Penny Store, and Awakening Boutique. Even the Goodwill on Broadway is on another level; itâs seriously one of the best in the city.
Beyond clothes, explore The Wizardâs Chest for cosplay and games, Fern & Sky for home goods and thoughtful gifts, and FM for streetwear and edgy fashion. Finish your loop with a stop at Regal Vintage for perfectly preserved retro fashion and The Oddemporium for curiosities, oddities, and the delightfully unexpected.
If you're hitting ThriftCon, make South Broadway your pre-game or after-party destination. And if you're making a weekend out of it (which you should), spend a whole day exploring this iconic strip.

đ South Broadway After Dark: Where to Eat, Drink & Dance
When the sun goes down, South Broadway lights up with a nightlife scene thatâs just as eclectic and exciting as its vintage shops. Grab dinner at Postino for shareable plates and an unbeatable wine list, or enjoy rooftop views and hearty American fare at The Historians Ale House. Looking for some fun? Head to Punch Bowl Social for bowling, karaoke, and cocktails.
Late night? Donât skip Sputnik; home of the iconic late-night corn dog and rotating DJ sets. For live music and dancing, Hi-Dive is the place to be, while Skylark Lounge offers classic soul and vintage vibes on its glowing vinyl dance floor. Keep the party going at Milk Bar Denver or The L, where DJs keep things spinning into the early morning.
Prefer something quirky? Check out The Delorean, a retro-futuristic lounge; The St. Mary, one of the city's true dive gems; or Players Pub, where you can shoot pool, play games, and meet locals. Cap your night with a show at Landmarkâs Mayan Theatre or an immersive experience at Spektra Art Space. South Broadway truly has it all.
